Refund Policy

A plain-language summary of how cancellation, refunds, and withdrawal requests work for Carousel Builder subscriptions.

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to paid Carousel Builder subscriptions and related billing flows provided by Neon Layer and processed through Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider and Merchant of Record.

This policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights that apply under EU, Hungarian, or other applicable law.

2. Payment provider

Paid subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider and Merchant of Record, unless another provider is clearly identified at checkout. Lemon Squeezy may handle checkout, payment processing, applicable tax/VAT collection, receipts, invoices, payment support, subscription management, and refund processing.

We do not receive or store full payment card details. The checkout page, receipt, or billing email may identify Lemon Squeezy as the merchant of record involved in the transaction.

3. Cancellations

You may cancel a paid subscription through Lemon Squeezy's customer portal, through any subscription-management flow made available in the app or website, or by contacting support.

When you cancel, future renewals are stopped. Unless the checkout flow, Lemon Squeezy, or mandatory law says otherwise, your paid access usually remains available until the end of the current billing period.

Cancellation by itself does not automatically refund past charges or unused time in the current billing period.

4. Refund requests

Refund requests are reviewed through Lemon Squeezy's billing support process and, where needed, with Neon Layer support. To request help, use any billing support link shown at checkout, in the customer portal, receipt, or billing email, or contact us at the email below with the email address used at checkout and any transaction, receipt, order, or subscription ID you have.

Refunds may be approved where required by law, where Lemon Squeezy determines a refund is appropriate, or where we confirm a billing error, duplicate charge, accidental purchase, or service-access problem that cannot be reasonably resolved.

Unless required by law or approved through Lemon Squeezy, we generally do not provide refunds for unused subscription time after cancellation, changes of mind after active use, or failure to cancel before a renewal date.

5. EU withdrawal rights

If you are an EU/EEA consumer, you generally have a 14-day statutory withdrawal right for the first payment under a subscription contract. This does not usually apply to later subscription renewals unless mandatory law says otherwise.

For digital content or digital services, exceptions may apply once access or supply has started if the checkout flow asks you to consent to immediate supply and acknowledge the relevant consequence for withdrawal rights.

We will handle withdrawal, refund, and cancellation requests according to mandatory consumer law and the information shown at checkout.

6. Approved refunds

Approved refunds are normally returned by Lemon Squeezy to the original payment method. Bank, card, and payment-provider processing times may vary.

If a subscription payment is refunded, Pro access may be removed, reduced, or returned to the Free plan, depending on the transaction and subscription state.
